White Collar Crime in Massachusetts.

Everyone has heard of Bernie Madoff.  His case is bigger than life and we might think that flying below the radar prevents us or loved ones from ever being accused of white collar crime.  Know this, no matter what scale the offense may be law enforcement officers have made it a focal point.  We’re talking US Attorney and the FBI.  The kind of attention NOBODY wants.

White collar crime comes in many forms such as –
1.  Corporate embezzlement.  The big fish in a small pond.
2.  Obstructing justice.  Lying to protect someone will get you in a world of trouble.
3.  Stolen credit cards.  It never pays.  The big companies will always catch up.
4.  Mortgage fraud.  You may feel like you own it, but really the bank does.
5.  Mail fraud.  Yes, it still exists even in this electronic world…and much more.

You must come to terms with the fact that this is NOT a victimless crime like robbery or assault.  If you or a loved one has been arrested take it VERY seriously.  Your first phone call should be to Massachusetts white collar defense attorney Paul R. Moraski.  Call Attorney Moraski any time in Boston at (978) 744-1200.

There are so many branches of white collar criminality.  For example, public corruption and bribery is a big one.  Stolen credit cards - it has happened to just about all of us is another.  Mortgage fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering are also being scrutinized more carefully than ever.  Now we are coming up on the time of year when tax evasion runs rampant.
